About this event
Kick off the holiday season with the Charleston Parks Conservancy’s annual Light the Lake at Colonial Lake. Working in collaboration with the City of Charleston, this year includes special holiday performances, a hot chocolate and cookie bar, craft stations, and a 100% chance of snow! Colonial Lake will be aglow with 1,000 beautiful luminaries, and as always, the highlight of the evening is when Mayor Cogswell lights the tree in the middle of lake, kicking off the holiday season in Charleston. Light the Lake is a free community event in one of Charleston’s most beautiful parks supporting our mission cultivate exceptional public gardens and experiences in Charleston’s city parks.
