- ➤ Mount Pleasant will debut a community food forest in Belle Hall next year, with a possible spring launch announced by Recreation Director TJ Rostin. The project, led by tree advocate Michelle Stress at the front of the R.L. Jones Center on Egypt Road, offers hands-on learning and neighborhood wellness. Moultrie News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Trident Technical College announced an expanded partnership with Boeing South Carolina on Dec. 18 to train production and maintenance teammates at its S.C. Aeronautical Training Center. The five-year contract — effective Jan. 1 — will hire up to 100 team members in early 2026 to support the 787 Dreamliner program. Moultrie News
