At a June 10 meeting, the Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant passed leadership from outgoing President Ken Tallmadge to President-elect Andrew McGlaughon as individual plaques honored board members (Past Governor Lou Mello and Past President Lewis Lee).
The College of Charleston is assigning about 125 incoming first-year students to local hotels due to a surge in enrollment and limited on-campus housing as plans are finalized today. The school said students will pay the same rate and receive usual services & campus support.
