- ➤ On Dec. 12, community members gathered in the Pitt Street Bridge area to plant over 20 live oaks for SC Arbor Day. The project, led by the city's Planning Department and the GREEN Commission, also removed invasive plant species to help restore the Old Village. Moultrie News

- ➤ Young patients at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital enjoyed a visit from The Grinch on Dec. 11 as he spread holiday cheer with help from the cast of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas and support from the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center. Moultrie News
