- ➤ Wando High School planted a live oak tree on Dec. 9 to celebrate Arbor Day as the Alhambra Garden Club (sharing half the project cost) and the PTSO Beautification Committee joined forces to enhance the campus; students in the horticulture program helped plant the tree despite cool, rainy weather.
