- ➤ VFW Post 137 hosted Coast Guard officers for a cornhole tournament and lunch at Isle of Palms, where over 70 service members and families gathered. The event was coordinated by Bob Patterson (current Patriotic Instructor) and George Page (former VFW Auxiliary President), and Captain Eric Jones noted the base supports key local commands. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The 2025 SCHSL Football Championships will air live on My TV Charleston on Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. On Dec. 5, games begin at 12 p.m. with class 3A, followed by class A at 4 p.m. and class 5A Division II at 7:30 p.m., while Dec. 6 features class 4A at 12 p.m., class 2A at 4 p.m. and class 5A Division I at 7:30 p.m.—each game is set to give high school football fans several options for viewing.
