- ➤ Delta Dental of South Carolina awarded a $21,540 donation to East Cooper Community Outreach in Mount Pleasant to buy digital sensors and supplies for its free dental clinic serving uninsured, low-income adults on Six Mile Road—benefiting up to 300 community members annually. Moultrie News
- ➤ Due to ongoing food insecurity from delayed SNAP benefits after the federal shutdown, Palmetto Goodwill has extended its food drive through the end of the year. Non-perishable food donations are accepted at all 33 retail locations to support the Lowcountry Food Bank — Harvest Hope Food Bank. Moultrie News

- ➤ The Wando Marching Band prepared for the Grand Nationals in Indianapolis from Nov.14 to Nov.16 after winning first place in the state on Nov.8 and finishing 11th nationwide. Band director Bobby Lambert—who has 25 years in teaching—said the team boosted its performance by taking risks and adding middle school performers from Laing, Thomas Cario and Moultrie Middle Schools.
