➤ Homeowners at Belle Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant have planted over 70 trees to help restore the local canopy — a project that began a year ago. The new trees include six longleaf pines named Bobby, Mermaid, John, Harvey, Harvest and Maggie — and residents plan a tree giveaway for Arbor Day on Dec.6. Moultrie News
