The MUSC Wellness Center will host its fourth annual Breast Cancer Survivors’ Expo on October 25 at 45 Courtenay Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to share resources and activities — including balance clinics, yoga and pickleball — and offer a free lunch-and-learn at 12:30 p.m. for those who register before the event.

Megan Buchholz turned her breast cancer battle into a mission by launching Moving Mountains— a program that delivers chemo care bags to patients— and she will host a virtual golf fundraiser next Saturday on Daniel Island to raise funds for the project.

The Bishop England Lady Bishops varsity volleyball team won the 4A Region Championship with an undefeated record of 10 to 0 in region play.

Head coach Cindy Baggott led the team — known for its teamwork and skill — as they prepare for lower state playoffs starting Oct.22 at Bishop England High School.
