- ➤ Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred just after 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 on Johns Island—where a passenger was ejected from the vehicle and later found dead on Aug. 25. Moultrie News
