Maestro Nick Palmer previewed the nonprofit’s new season during a Rotary Club meeting in Mount Pleasant—five concerts will start on Nov. 1 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center with shows on Nov. 1, Dec. 20, Jan. 31, March 28 and April 25. He also noted that subscriptions will offer movie-rate ticket pricing and highlighted additional events like Jazz in the Park at Riverfront Park.

MUSC’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program graduated its third cohort this August and received full accreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology—this confirms the program meets high academic and clinical standards. Applications for the fall 2026 cohort are open until Dec. 1.
