- ➤ Today, Splash Island Water Park welcomed over 130 dogs for Dog Day Afternoon as they splashed and socialized without human interference — the event also featured adoption opportunities through the Charleston Animal Society. WCIV

- ➤ PURE Theatre announced its First Annual Playwrights Festival will take place September 12—13 at the Cannon Street Arts Center featuring the Charleston premiere of Dan Hoyle’s solo show Takes All Kinds along with workshops, panels, and a birthday celebration for artistic director Sharon Graci.
