Yesterday, CCSD introduced Ask Chas—an AI-powered, multilingual web chat assistant developed with Citibot—to help parents, students, and community members get quick answers and submit inquiries online.
The tool, which communicates in 75 languages, supported the district's Back to School projects and improved access to information.
🏥 Health
Dan Daniel of Children's Cancer Partners spoke on July 9 at the Rotary Club of Mount Pleasant to explain how the nonprofit helps low-income and single-parent families cover travel and lodging costs for child cancer treatment, noting that CCP supports 2,400 children in North Carolina and South Carolina and has seen a 10 percent increase in demand in the Lowcountry over the past five years.
