- ➤ East Cooper Community Outreach unveiled a multi-million dollar expansion at its Six Mile Road facility on Monday—adding nearly three thousand square feet to combine its clothing closet, dental clinics, and medical clinics to better serve the community. - ➤ At the June 17 meeting, the Mount Pleasant GREEN Commission discussed plans to remove invasive species and plant trees across town. Commission President David Quick proposed working with scout troops and local groups — an effort supported by members including Mary Conley, who suggested involving students at Shem Creek — to coordinate cleanup and planting projects.
