- ➤ On June 6, deputies arrested Harry Brown Jr.—accused of animal cruelty—after finding five emaciated dogs at a property on Royal Harbor Rd that suffered from poor conditions and had no proper food or water. WCIV
- ➤ The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded shortly after 4:30 a.m. Saturday to a shooting on Warm Avenue that left one man dead—19-year-old Calvin Jerome Brown was apprehended and is now charged with murder rather than his earlier charges. WCBD
