- ➤ On Saturday, the RiverDogs clinched a series win with a 5-2 road victory over league-best Mudcats (an hour-long rain delay delayed the start until pitcher Jose Urbina retired eight batters in a row). Their win returned the team to a 28-28 record and put them two games out of first as they prepare to host a six-game series on Tuesday. WCIV
- ➤ The Charleston Battery extended its unbeaten run to eight matches after they drew 1-1 with Loudoun United on Saturday. MD Myers scored in the 43rd minute and Loudoun equalized in the 67th minute while the team will face Hartford Athletic on June 14 and Phoenix Rising on June 21. WCIV
