- ➤ An 18-year-old man from Charleston was arrested Tuesday for armed robbery after a Monday night shooting near Domino’s Pizza on Bowen Pier Drive in Hanahan that killed 18-year-old Tra’sean White — details remain unknown as the investigation continues. WCIV

- ➤ Lowcountry sweetgrass basket makers, crafters, and artists are invited to apply for the 21st Annual Sweetgrass Festival. Organizers said the juried show will take place on July 26 at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and the application deadline is June 23. WCIV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Preschoolers at Primrose School in Mount Pleasant raised $1,600 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in honor of their teacher’s daughter. The fundraiser, part of the annual Spring Fling event, showed the school’s commitment to giving back + supported local efforts for MS care. Moultrie News
- ➤ On Monday night, CCSD leaders held a board meeting where they restricted enrollment at Lucy Beckham + allowed transfers to Jane Edwards if tuition and transportation were arranged.
