  • A recent survey by Regan Zambri Long found that two Lowcountry ramp exits—the transition from US-17 to Savannah Highway and the I-26 exit to Ashley Phosphate Road—cause high stress among drivers. The study polled over 3,000 motorists and highlights traffic bottlenecks in these busy areas.  The Post and Courier
  • Mount Pleasant Waterworks will celebrate Drinking Water Week from May 3 to 9 by partnering with Kaleidoscope to teach local elementary and middle school students about water conservation. Students will visit the facility on Rifle Range Road and display art that shows ways to save water.  Moultrie News
  • Stall High School Air Force JROTC cadets led a food and clothing drive on Saturday, Apr. 25 that helped over 30 families at the high school. They coordinated with community partners (Stall family, Community Resource Center, and MUSC Health) to deliver groceries and a hot meal.  Charleston County School District
  • People with disabilities, caregivers and families can join Inclusive Swim Nights starting May 31 at Splash Zone Waterpark (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) with similar events at West County Aquatic Center and Splash Island Waterpark this summer, offering affordable entry, wheelchair options and scholarship assistance.  Moultrie News
