- ➤ Mount Pleasant police arrested Nathan Scott Jr. on April 11 after searching the Anchorage Apartments complex for a stolen license plate—he was pulled over near Whipple Road around 7 p.m. after officers detected his intoxication—and he was charged with DUI 2nd following his refusal to comply with commands. - ➤ Charleston County officials said Tuesday that the Airport Connector Road project received a Finding of No Significant Impact from the Federal Highway Administration, ending a long environmental review. The five-lane road—designed to separate airport and Boeing traffic—now moves to right-of-way acquisition and will start construction in the third quarter, taking about two years to complete. WCBD
