- ➤ Charleston Catholic School has announced a fundraising concert featuring Grammy-winning Charlton Singleton on May 9 at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston — the event will support academic programs and student enrichment. Moultrie News
- ➤ Charleston author Margaret Seidler detailed her genealogical research at a Rotary Club meeting on April 1, revealing family records that dispute the long-held claim of German ancestry. - ➤ Mount Pleasant Waterworks is testing a plan to drill a 2,500-ft deep well to secure the town's water supply for the next 100 years & beyond. Drilling will begin soon and, if tests prove successful, the project will finish before winter 2028. WCIV
