- ➤ At the March 23 board meeting, Cooper River students earned their Clinical Medical Assistant credential and Freddie Rodaste of Ashley River Elementary was honored as the 212 Degree Award Winner — a nod to his hard work. The Military Magnet Academy girls won a state title with standout plays from Mariah Brown and Da’Nariyah Williams. Charleston County School District

- ➤ The Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network’s 9th annual Dolphin Week runs from April 20 to 25 — offering family-friendly events like beach yoga, sunset boating, kayak tours, and a screening — and will end with a volunteer-led Dolphin Count on April 25 to help protect local dolphins. Moultrie News

- ➤ Joint Base Charleston welcomed home Airmen from the 16th Airlift Squadron after completing a global deployment last week. They were greeted by family and base leadership as the team prepared to support ongoing operations (acknowledging their dedication). Moultrie News
