- ➤ Burke High School Executive Principal Cheryl Swinton will step into a district role as Program Executive for the Peninsula Promise Project on July 1, working to align schools, community partners, and resources to strengthen college and career readiness on the peninsula. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Two tax bills are moving through the Statehouse that could change refunds and tax bills. One bill (HB 3368) may boost 2025 refunds for seniors and overtime workers while another (HB 4216) could lead to higher tax bills for some middle-income earners filing next year. WCIV
