- ➤ Registration is open for We Are Sharing Hope SC’s inaugural Pickleball for Hope tournament, a fundraising event to raise organ donation awareness. The two-day tournament will be held on July 24 and 25 at Pickleball Kingdom in Belle Hall shopping center. Moultrie News

- ➤ South Carolina Ports Authority reported the highest export sales in seven years with a 1.5% increase to $38.5B in 2025, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Governor McMaster said strong global demand for local passenger vehicles, tires and machinery boosted state companies’ competitiveness. WCIV
- ➤ GasBuddy data shows South Carolina gas prices rose 5.6 cents in the last week, averaging $2.63 per gallon on Monday, with stations ranging from $2.31 to $3.59. The national average is up to $2.94, and prices will rise further amid U.S.–Iran tensions. WCIV

- ➤ Charleston County School District announced a $984,910 investment to expand its THRIVE program — aimed at providing mental health and behavioral support for Pre-K through eighth grade students — with enrollment set to start next school year. WCIV

- ➤ Over the weekend, more than 2,500 people gathered in Charleston for the American Heart Association’s Lowcountry Heart Walk — raising over $1.3 million for heart research and CPR education that benefits local residents. Donations remain open online for further lifesaving programs. WCIV
