- ➤ The Harbor Entrepreneur Center announced its 2026 board of directors to support over 100 local businesses. The board, led by Chair Jessica Munday and Chair-Elect Andy Seavers, will enhance mentorship for entrepreneurs in the Lowcountry. Moultrie News

- ➤ Charleston Academy of Musical Theatre students will perform Seussical JR on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 (2 p.m. and 5 p.m.) at the Lucy Beckham High School Performing Arts Center at 1560 Mathis Ferry Road in Mount Pleasant. Moultrie News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Mount Pleasant Waterworks described its native planting projects at the Jan. 20 GREEN Commission meeting (nine demonstration gardens built by 40 volunteers) and will host a volunteer workday on Feb. 28 at Marsh View Trail to clear invasive species and offer small grants for pollinator gardens.
