Ice Skating on the Point

The Beach Club at Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina will once again offer "Ice Skating on the Point," its seasonal waterfront ice-skating rink and Winter Wonderland attractions beginning Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.

The synthetic ice rink, now in its fifth year, has become a popular holiday tradition for locals and visitors. The rink is open to resort guests and the general public.

The seasonal attraction offers activities for the whole family, including: • Ice skating: Guests can enjoy the synthetic ice rink, with skate rentals included in the ticket price. Skate sizes range from toddler size 6 to men's size 13.

• S'mores and hot cocoa: Visitors can warm up with hot cocoa and roast s'mores by the firepits.

• Waterfront experiences: Guests can reserve a firepit or enjoy views of Charleston Harbor from one of the resort's waterfront gondolas.

• Family-friendly activities: Children can enjoy bounce houses, games and other activities.

• Craft Village and special events: Visitors can explore festive activities and seasonal entertainment throughout the experience.

Ice Skating on the Point will be held at the Charleston Harbor Resort Pavilion, located at 24 Patriots Point Road in Mount Pleasant. The attraction will run through Monday, Jan. 18, 2027.

Ticket Prices

Reservations are required, and tickets are nonrefundable. Admission includes skate rentals, access to the Craft Village, special events, bounce houses and a candy wall token for the Marina Store.

Ticket prices vary by date: • $18 plus tax: Select Thursday evenings.

• $20 plus tax: Select Friday evenings and January dates.

• $22 plus tax: Weekends and holidays.

Ice Skating Schedule • Nov. 26-29: 2-8 p.m. ($22 plus tax)

• Thursdays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17: 4-8 p.m. ($18 plus tax)

• Fridays, Dec. 4 and 11, and Jan. 8 and 15: 4-8 p.m. ($20 plus tax)

• Saturdays, Dec. 5 and 12: 2-8 p.m. ($22 plus tax)

• Sunday, Dec. 6: 3-8 p.m. ($22 plus tax)

• Dec. 18-Jan. 3: 2-8 p.m. ($22 plus tax), with exceptions listed below.

• Dec. 24, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1: Noon-5 p.m.

• Saturdays, Jan. 9 and 16, and Sundays, Jan. 10 and 17: 2-8 p.m. ($20 plus tax)

• Monday, Jan. 18: Noon-5 p.m. ($20 plus tax)

The rink will be closed Sunday, Dec. 13, due to the Mount Pleasant Holiday Parade and associated road closures on Patriots Point Road. It will also be closed Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Firepit and Gondola Rentals

In addition to ice skating, visitors can reserve private waterfront experiences.

Rinkside firepits cost $50 plus tax per hour for up to four people and include two s'mores kits. Skate rentals are not included.

Waterfront gondolas overlooking Charleston Harbor cost $85 plus tax per hour for up to 10 people and include four s'mores kits. The gondolas feature firepits but are not located rinkside.

Reservations are required for skating and the separate firepit and gondola experiences.
