Sailing Dory Transfer

About this event

Hands are needed to load up the sailing Dory along with its various accoutrements, which include essential gear and supplies, for transport to Lowcountry Maritime School where It will undergo maintenance and restoration to sail trim.

Our sailing Dory is on th floating dock beside Spirit, on the slip-side of the marina. Hands are needed to lift and carry her along the length of the floating dock, up the ramp, and then loaded on to a trailer. All her gear and accessories are similarly to be moved from our dock/pier to the trailer.

A side quest for the day is unloading the new 40 ft long telephone pole which has been sourced to replace the two separate posts currently in use. That post will need to be placed on the docks benches alongside out topmast. At a later date It will be used In rebuilding the fender system. TBD.
