About this event
Charleston Nerd Nite is back and this lineup is chef’s kiss .
Join us for three gloriously nerdy talks:
For the Love of Dead Fishes
Take a deep dive into museum collections, preservation, and the surprising afterlife of fish.
Puppetry, the Orphan of the Arts
Puppets: beloved by children, feared by adults, and never given the artistic respect they deserve.
UFO Science: Sorry, It’s Probably Not Aliens
A pseudoscience skeptic takes on the mysteries in the sky, because someone has to be the buzzkill.
Each speaker gets 20 minutes to talk about their thing , with trivia between talks where you can finally cash in on all that completely unnecessary information you've accumulated over the years. Winners take home Nerd Nite swag. Respect of your peers, not guaranteed.
