About this event

Kundalini & Coffee

A Sunday Morning Wellness Experience

Before the holiday hustle, find your flow.

Join Alchemy Aerial Arts and Good Company Cafe for a special gathering featuring guided Kundalini Yoga with Amara Onyioha, locally crafted coffee, and meaningful community connection.

Kundalini is a spiritual concept rooted in ancient yogic traditions that describes a dormant inner energy believed to reside at the base of the spine. Movement-based meditation draws on this concept through intentional, rhythmic, and intuitive movement to explore the body’s energetic flow, release feelings of stagnation, and cultivate greater mind-body awareness. This practice invites you to reconnect with yourself and create space for deeper spiritual connection. Unlike a traditional yoga class focused primarily on physical poses and stretching, Kundalini incorporates a combination of movement, breathing techniques, meditation, and mantras to encourage the mind/body connection.

Whether you're an experienced yogi, movement enthusiast, or simply curious about trying something new, you're welcome here. No prior yoga experience is needed—just come as you are and be open to the experience.

After practice, enjoy a cup of coffee with fellow Black-owned small business Good Company Cafe, and connect with others in our local wellness community.

Your experience includes:

• A guided Kundalini Yoga session with Amara Onyioha

• One standard coffee beverage from Good Company

• A welcoming space to connect, unwind, and support local small businesses

Meet your instructor

Amara Onyioha is a movement artist and wellness instructor with over 15 years of experience in ballet, dance, mobility, and yoga. A former professional dancer in Nigeria, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training and prenatal/postnatal certifications in Rishikesh, India. Having traveled to more than 13 countries, Amara sees movement as a powerful way to connect with ourselves, our bodies, and the world around us.

Come as you are. Move with intention. Leave with a little more connection—and a good cup of coffee.
