About this event

Design your own glowing masterpiece using vibrant, pre-cut stained glass tiles and colorful beads under the direction of Cookie Washington.

Step into the warmth, history, and camaraderie of a centuries-old craft! Join local artist Cookie Washington just before the holiday season begins to experience the beautiful tradition of Turkish mosaic lamps—originally crafted to cast colorful, geometric light through the palaces of the Ottoman Empire. In this relaxing and festive workshop, participants will design their own glowing masterpiece using vibrant, pre-cut stained glass tiles and colorful beads. Whether you keep your glowing creation to cozy up your own home or wrap it up as a deeply meaningful, handmade holiday gift for a loved one, you will leave with a stunning treasure. Each lamp is finished with a modern, safe LED light source to beautifully illuminate your design for years to come. All materials provided. For ages 18+, no experience necessary.
