About this event

Harlem Farr (hrlum) is a CofC class of 2021 alum, born in South Carolina and classically trained from childhood, Harlem discovered her musical voice at six years old, teaching herself piano by ear. With dual bachelor's degrees in music theory and composition and Spanish, and mastery of guitar and electric bass, she brings a richly textured artistry to every performance.

Her sound, shaped by jazz, neo-soul and samba, glows with experimental vocal layers and a dreamlike, cosmic touch. Through her work, Harlem weaves messages of peace, harmony, selfencouragement and love, inviting listeners into a space that feels both deeply personal and expansively universal.
