“Charleston...Through My Eyes” by Anzhei Trubitski

Lowcountry Artists Gallery is pleased to present: “Charleston...Through My Eyes”, a collection of original oil paintings by Anzhei Trubitski, as Anzhei paints what he sees and loves about Charleston.

“Charleston...Through My Eyes” is inspired by the places Trubitski visits with paintings that capture the atmosphere, color and character of each place, reflecting a quiet sense of place and emotion.

About the Artist:

Born and raised in Belarus, Anzhei Trubitski studied painting at the Belarusian Academy of Arts. His passion for art and travel has taken him to many different places, each offering new inspiration for his paintings. His work has received recognition in national and international juried exhibitions and is held in private collections in the United States and abroad.

Today, Anzhei lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, but often finds himself returning to Charleston with his paints and brushes. There's something about the city that keeps drawing him back — its historic streets, beautiful architecture, warm Southern light, and the everyday scenes that make Charleston so special.

He loves exploring the city, discovering new places to paint, and capturing moments that others might simply walk past. A horse-drawn carriage on a sunny afternoon, the glow of streetlights after dark, or seabirds along the shore — these are the little pieces of Charleston that inspire his work.

Through his paintings, Anzhei shares his own view of the Lowcountry, inviting others to see the beauty and character of this place through his eyes.
