Rise Up Hoops' 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Basketball Camp

About this event

100% FREE for kids: Rise Up Hoops' 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Basketball Camp Wednesday, November 25, 2026 | 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Eastern

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 10360 Highway 78 E, Summerville, SC 29483

Families from Charleston, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, Summerville, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner and across the Lowcountry are invited. Kids can enjoy basketball drills and games, a free meal, free haircuts, shoe giveaways, a family needs booth, and giveaways of items autographed by NBA All-Stars. Free T-shirts are courtesy of Joe's Carts. Parents can give their children a fun day of hoops while taking a little time to prepare for Thanksgiving.

Register at riseupsc.com and include the child's shirt size. Space is limited.

Giveaways are subject to available supplies; signed items are giveaways, not a promise of player appearances. Rise Up is a faith-based nonprofit operating out of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Our work combines basketball, meals, mentorship and practical support for local young people and families.

We are also seeking corporate sponsors and in-kind partners to help provide meals, shoes, supplies and other camp needs while keeping this event completely free. Businesses can reply directly to discuss support, volunteer involvement, or a coordinated visit. Beyond camp, support also helps with youth league scholarships, clothing, meals and haircuts.
