About this event

Join us on a journey to the bottom of the ocean to discover exciting new findings from the H.L. Hunley submarine. Explore the Museum’s newest exhibition, created in partnership with the Friends of the Hunley and the Warren Lasch Conservation Center, and try your hand at a variety of hands-on activities.

Create your own weaving using a loom and hook set, test your skills by attempting to bandage yourself using the skills and materials available to soldiers during the Civil War, discover the beautiful and unique art of hair jewelry, and view photographs through a stereoscope.
