About this event
Turn fabric and paper into a one-of-a-kind notebook, made entirely on the sewing machine. In this class, your child will design and sew a custom fabric cover, then machine-stitch the paper pages right into the binding. Every notebook is unique. Students choose their own fabric and can size their notebook exactly how they want it, whether that’s a pocket-sized sketchbook or a full-size journal.
Prerequisite: Child must have completed Make Your Own Stuffy before enrolling in this class.
What your child will learn:
Machine sewing skills beyond the basics
Sewing fabric to create a custom book cover
Binding paper pages by machine
Planning and measuring a project of their own size and design
Meet the Teacher: Ashley Huff
