Melton Peter Demetre Park is a beautiful waterfront park with sweeping views of Charleston Harbor. Although it’s a relatively small park, its shoreline attracts a nice variety of coastal birds throughout the year. On this walk we’ll be looking for pelicans, cormorants, gulls, terns, shorebirds, raptors, and wintering songbirds while enjoying one of Charleston’s most scenic harbor views. Every bird walk is different, and you never know what surprise visitor might show up.

Meeting location- Parking Lot - 640 Wampler Dr, Charleston, SC 29412
