Homeschool STEAM Class

About this event

This is an art and STEM class for children ages 4 and up as an introduction to the different mediums and styles in art, as well different ways STEM applies to our everyday lives. Each class is based around a theme and 1-3 projects, most of which your child will get to take home that day. We will explore different art mediums and concepts, while also finding the answers to questions like how things work, why things react together, and what problem were solved with inventions. Working with their peers will also help develop your child's vocabulary, problem solving and critical thinking skills. All ages will get to enjoy making a mess while working towards their vision inspired by that day’s class materials, in a safe, creative environment. There will be a short lesson, space for movement as needed, music playing and thoughtful STEM based questions to keep the class engaged for everyone.
