About this event
Friends of Fisher House Charleston, Patriots Point, the Charleston Symphony, and the Charleston Men's Chorus present Symphony of Service, a free Veterans Day concert on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown. The Charleston Men's Chorus performs from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by the Charleston Symphony brass ensemble from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. The concert honors all who have served and supports Fisher House Charleston, where veteran and military families stay at no cost while a loved one receives care at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Free with general admission to Patriots Point; veterans board free on Veterans Day. Seating for 400 on the flight deck, first come, first served, with standing room beyond that.
