Blue Hour Drift - opening art reception for Elizabeth H. Agresta

About this event

The Charleston Artist Guild Gallery is pleased to announce Elizabeth Agresta as its Featured Artist for the month of November. Her show, Blue Hour Drift, will feature expressive abstract landscapes.

A Charleston-based painter from a family steeped in the creative arts, from Japanese ceramics and kimono design to photography, writing, and poetry, Elizabeth blends traditional training at Silvermine Art with contemporary studies at The Art Students League of New York. Drawing on the immediacy of plein air painting and the depth of introspective meditation, she transforms overlooked moments into vivid, emotionally resonant works.

The exhibition opens with a public reception on Friday, November 6, from 5 to 8 PM, as part of Charleston's First Friday Art Walk at the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery, 160 E. Bay Street. The artist will be in attendance, and the show remains on view through November 30.
